HomeGoods - Charged 2x for item I returned
There are 2 charges of $197 in my Citibank card from Homegoods. When I go to the store they say they have no way of knowing what it was I bought and I’ll neither do I.
I did buy a kids bureau last summer and went to my car to park it out front instead of carrying all the way to the car. I got in my car and went home forgetting the item. As soon as I got home I called to tell them and they said they couldn’t hold until the next day. I told him never mind because I couldn’t come right back (was at bday party) I won’t buy it and please refund me’
The man asked for the item number and receipt and my card number and said he would refund my card.
But instead I think he charged me again.
I need these 2 charges now refunded on my Citibank account.
I am trying to close that account but I can’t unless and until you credit me. Citibank said they tried to contact Homegoods about it but got no where and told me to call corporate.
