HomeGoods - Racist
I went to the store on county line rd in Colorado, the line was long and I waited for about 15 min to get to a cashier. I had a quit for a queen size bed, so the cashier open it and started sticking her hands and arms all up in there like I stole something.
When I ask her what the *** was she looking for? She said it just me no worries. Long story short i called and spoke with a manager and he stated that it was policy to check things that open or zip. Wrong!
I was in that line for at least 15 minutes and not one persons item was checked. They were all white people. It's quite obvious that I'm black.
I was the only one who was checked and single out. I will never spend my money at that store again and the Quit is going back and everything else I can find my receipt for.
Reason of review: Poor customer service.
Location: Denver, Colorado

It actually IS policy to check inside anything that opens or zips, as many customers (not saying you!) will conceal merchandise within these items. However, if other people in line being checked out were not subjected to the same procedure, I do agree that does sound discriminatory and am sorry that happened to you.
Iโve had a similar experience as a white 63 yr old women. Please Stop with the discrimination accusations. Suppose I can use the age discrimination with my item being searched but doubtful the case.
