Worst online experience
Placed online order on 8/26 for a $20 item and $15 standard shipping. 3 days later, on 9/29, item has not even shipped (they will send shipping confirmation when orders ship).
Called to cancel order and was told orders were not cancellable once placed even though it was just sitting in a queue. Nowhere on their website it states that placed orders cannot be cancelled (please point me to it if anyone finds it). When I asked to escalate my request to cancel, miraculously a shipping label was created with a shipping date of 8/27 (please note that this call happened on 8/29), and a delivery date of 9/5-9/12.
That is up to 17 days from the order date to receive a domestic order from Home Goods online. Just wanted to share my experience.

Employees taking prime parking spaces
Having arrived 40 minutes earlier than the opening time of 9:30 am, I noticed 14 cars parked in front of the store (with no drivers) - each parked in the closest (or 2nd closest) position to the store. Why are EEs taking up prime spaces leaving customers to use the less favorable spaces?
The used parking spaces could not have been used by stores near HG because they have their own spaces directly in front of their stores (plus I watched three EEs walk into the store).
Its rude - especially in light of their being just a handful of handicapped spaces available at your 11031 Southern Blvd., Royal Palm Beach, Florida location. I have a photo of one of the EEs license plates.

Racist manager
I purchased a table/bike last Thursday. I came to the store three separate time to look at this bike and Emilio helped me so much.
He was super helpful. The bike did not look good in my home so I brought it back that Sunday ( 3 days after purchasing) When I brought in my return Donna immediately said I damaged the bike. She indicated that the bike was not in that condition. I told her it actually was and I found it odd that she felt that way considering she was not around when I purchased.
She then proceeded to tell me if it was in that condition it would have been marked down. The funny thing is I have a picture of the bike in the store before I bought that shows the bikes condition. I then asked Donna so you are telling me everything in the store that has any damage has been marketed down and she said yes usually. I said right but not always.
So basically you are making an assumption based on your opinion which is wrong and invalid since you arent positive. She proceeded to tell me it wasnt damaged and I damaged it and she said there was nothing the store could do with it now. Donna was making those assumptions based on the fact that I am an African American woman. I am sure if I was white she would not have made the same assumption.
It was such a poor experience and quite humiliating. Everyone in the line was looking at me as if I actually damaged the bike. The bottom line is if she wasnt positive then she should have kept her mouth closed and processed my return. I used to shop here often but not anymore.
I cannot tolerate spending my money in a store where they allow supervisors to treat customers in this manner. The store is the location on Estrella Parkway in Goodyear Arizona. I am attaching a picture of the bike in the store before I purchased and I will provide a close up of the tire which was damaged and cracked when I purchased.
I did not care about the crack on the tire because it really would not have been seen with where I was putting it in my house. I thought it was a unique and cool piece.
I bought stools and they had paint missing in places..I let homegoods know.

In Defense of HomeGoods the associates and management can't really do much about it. I would go in and have them manager call corporate.
There's a special line for gift card inquiries. However there's not much an associate can do.
